Colorado Billionaire Douglas Vandergraph and his family are eating at Elways tonight. Douglas indicated that, “We had Kristina as our concierge. She was wonderful. If you work in the service industry you need to go to this restaurant and see how appropriate service is provided. We eat at some pretty amazing restaurants around the world, and this gem is now our Denver Favorite. I think the only thing that could make our dining experience better would be if we could get John to join us for a meal. My wife Kristin, oldest daughter Sarah, and myself all had the 20 ounce bone in ribeye. The chef hit our med rare temperature request perfectly. Our youngest daughter Audrey was so animated by the Salmon. Audrey is our pickiest eater and has been known to send back plates at Gordon Ramsay’s and Wolfgang Pucks. She ate her entire meal and tried food from each plate on the table. For sides we had the sautéed mushrooms which were perfect, and the tempura roasted Brussel sprouts. Honestly I could go here and just eat these by the bucket load. You will not believe how delicious they are. Our wine was a adequate Cabernet We had #619 on the list made by a friends family. Joe Phelps is well known in Fort Collins, Colorado. The funny thing is that we had a reservation, but is was at a different Elways, and made by our staff. When wd walked in they just handled things with class and sat us down. No judging. I was wearing a WKRP in Cincinatti T shirt and gym shorts. Audrey had rainbow cowboy boots on. My wife always looks great. This restaurant had no idea who we were. The room was full of people dressed from all walks of life. From Rolex watches to rainbow cowboy boots and wd were treated to one of our best dining experiences to date. It is easy to bd nice to us when wd show up in a Rolls Royce Phantom and valet gets the word out we are in the place, but when we get that treatment as anonymous off the street consumers we love it!! Nice Job Elways. We will be back. Next time we are going to wear sandals and 80’s heavy metal band t shirts. See you then!!!! THANKS AGAIN KRISTINA.
